Free 1982 Reunion Pictures
"The 1982 and 1957 UNC title teams gathered in Chapel Hill on Feb. 10, 2007 for an extraordinary reunion. Scott Fowler was there to cover the event and also shot a few pictures. Young brought Bob Cunningham's old No.32 jersey on-court in tribute to Cunningham, who died of cancer in 2006. To Young's left is the 1957 trophy earned by the team for winning the '57 national championship under head coach Frank McGuire. Worthy was kind enough to give an extensive interview for "Jimmy Black's Tales from the Tar Heels." Here the Gastonia native is with MJ and Dean Smith. |
