Scott spent an enjoyable night in 2007 appearing on the cable TV show “Sportsnight at Southend” in Charlotte. The 30-minute show was hosted by Bill Rosinski and featured Scott and Panthers defensive end Mike Rucker in one segment, followed by a NASCAR-themed show with Humpy Wheeler and NASCAR expert Marty Snider. The show was taped at Southend Brewery, on South Boulevard in Charlotte. It also resulted in this Charlotte Observer column about Mike Rucker, the veteran Panthers defensive end who was drafted by George Seifert, came into his own under John Fox and now is trying to make a comeback from serious knee surgery at age 32.
